This album was under construction for almost two years. It was an EP, then a full length, then three EPs, and finally "Roots". The title comes from the origin of the music... in a sense, I am rereleasing myself as an artist. I've grown and matured since 13 year old me, and i want something to show for it. "Roots" is by no means the perfect album. In fact, I the reason I'm releasing these particular songs is so that I can be done with them-- get them out of the way to make room for bigger and better things. I'm not sure what those things will look like, and I'm thankful for that. I'm looking forward to what is to come in my music career. So, enjoy "Roots" for what it is. An album of beginnings, flaws, and rawness. Thank you.
